Everyone's path to therapy looks different, and you don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

I understand how difficult it can be taking that step - acknowledging that you need to talk to someone other than friends or family, and it takes courage to share your vulnerabilities with someone you don't yet know.

Sometimes it's a specific challenge that's brought you here; other times, it's simply a feeling that something isn't quite right, even if you can't yet put it into words.

Below are some of the areas I specialise in. Take a moment to read through and discover more about my experience in these areas and the support I can offer. Wherever you're starting from, I provide a space to be heard without judgement.

I know that when you've lost someone or something important to you, the grief can often feel heavier than you expected.

I spent three years working for Cruse Bereavement, a charitable organisation supporting people through their bereavement and loss.

If something is taking up more space in your life than you want it to, it can be difficult to loosen its grip.

I have previously worked in drug and alcohol recovery centres, and also spent three years working with GamCare - an organisation helping people with gambling addictions.

Your relationship with food or eating can sometimes become a source of distress rather than nourishment.

I have experience working within the NHS and Private Practice in the UK with people suffering from different eating disorders. I have also visited clinics in South Africa which specialise in supporting those with eating disorders.

We live in a society that is increasingly busy, at times stressful and anxiety inducing. Our brains often perceive modern day stresses as though we are in danger and so respond to the threat, leading to symptoms of anxiety, overwhelm and stress.

I have experience of working with people suffering from anxiety, through my time working in both the NHS and Private Practice.

Things that used to feel manageable or enjoyable may now feel heavy, distant, or out of reach.

I have worked within the NHS and in Private Practice helping those suffering with feelings of hopeless, despair, sadness, a sense of meaninglessness, low self- esteem & apathy along with suicidal ideation.

Individual Therapy

Couples Therapy

It’s rarely a single thing that leads a couple to seek support. It’s often a build-up of misunderstandings, distance, or difficult conversations that have been circling without ever reaching a resolution.

Reaching out together is a significant step and I recognise it isn't always an easy one. Sitting with a stranger and being open about your relationship, especially in front of your partner, asks a lot of both of you, but it’s that willingness to try that matters.

The first step in our work together is understanding the differences between you and your partner. Through open communication, we will create a space where both of you can express your perspectives without judgement or pressure to change each other’s views.

The goal is for each partner to truly listen and appreciate these differences, recognising that differing approaches don’t have to create conflict, but can actually become one of the strengths in your relationship. We will work together to develop healthier ways of managing disagreements, finding strategies that allow you to handle conflict more constructively.

As you both learn to communicate better and approach conflict in a more supportive and less stressful way, you should start to feel less helpless or hopeless about your relationship. Over time, this can lead to greater happiness, positivity, and a renewed sense of connection.

My Services

The Importance of Language

For therapy to be effective, communication is key, and it is important that both my client and myself can fully understand each other. All of my sessions are held in my mother-tongue, English.

My Approach

I tailor my approach to each individual, drawing from different therapeutic models to suit your unique needs. I believe in equality, empowerment, and the potential for positive change in every individual.

I believe that self-awareness is key to fostering a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to encourage you to become more insightful and aware of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours which will consequently effect positive change.
